A dining room that share the space with the study or perhaps a library is not far-fetched concept. Space can be blended with the color or texture and prominent with their unique functions. Six-seater or four-seat dining table can be separated from the study / library with be placed on one side of the room or set at angles to create a welcoming niche for other functions. Often times, a hutch or sideboard comes with a set meal. A full set can be coordinated and put to one side before thinking of other requirements. A study would require a mini desk, chairs, and bookshelves. Usually, the desk is positioned near the window, if any. A library may require a sofa or two than a desk and chair. Join together the region may need something simple like a big carpet. Alternately, the carpet can divide the two regions.
This concept works with a warm homely atmosphere. Depending on the available space, the table must form a rectangle, square, or round. One can choose a bright floor cushions, natural fiber mats, or even triangular Thai cushions. The chair is adjusted only with the rear seats and better with a relatively formal style.
